Career Highlights
From 1999 - 2007, while at a major Absence Management vendor, Ms. Mashburn held positions as assistant vice president for clinical and return-to-work services and most recently as national account executive where she had oversight for the Absence Management vendor’s largest client relationships. Charged with overall client satisfaction, while helping employers navigate change in very complex disability and absence management models, her clients collectively provided benefits for more than 2.6 million employees. Representative companies include: TimeWarner, Dell, HCA, Maytag, Anheuser-Busch, Enterprise, and the State of Tennessee.

Prior to her vendor career, Ms. Mashburn used her clinical background to serve as a leader in the healthcare industry. This included serving as president and CEO of Beacon Health Services, a physician practice management company.

Summary

Ms. Mashburn brings 22 years of professional experience in disability claim operations and account management. She brings this depth of experience to client engagements in order to not only create workflows and processes prior to go-live, but she also brings this expertise to clients who are facing significant operational issues with existing vendor relationships.

Frequently published and often asked to present at national forums, she serves as a committee chair for the Disability Management Employer Coalition and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Ms. Mashburn has been involved in many civic activities and holds several honors and awards as a community and healthcare industry leader.
